Spice up your hot chocolate!

During winter days your body requires extra energy to keep warm. My favorite way to keep warm is to drink spiced up hot chocolate any time of the day. This hot chocolate provides handfull of nutrients from raw cacao powder and maca powder.  Here is a quick recipe:

  • 1 cup milk (can be almond or hemp)
  • 2 tea spoons of raw cacao powder  
  • 2 tea spoons of maca powder  
  • 1 tea spoon coconut sugar or raw sugar, or stevia
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of vanilla
  • dash of cayenne pepper (optional)

Mix all dry ingredients together, in the soccer heat up the milk to almost boil reduce heat combine dry ingredients and mix well until smooth. Pour hot chocolate into cup and enjoy it.
