A cup of hot chocolate usually contains about 4 or 5 milligrams of caffeine, which is about 1/20 that of a cup of regular coffee. When you use our raw organic cacao powder you get all the benefits of nutritional value. You can simply mix two teaspoons of cacao powder and one spoon of raw brown sugar or raw coconut sugar with a cup of milk or milk alternative such as almond or hemp milk. To make your hot chocolate more versatile and spicy add one teaspoon of maca powder and a dash of cinnamon mix it well and enjoy it.

Quinoa is the tiny, ancient Peruvian seed, with a mild, nutty flavor, is related to leafy green vegetables and is often used like a grain. Quinoa is a gluten free grain and is as versatile as rice but it has a protein content that is superior to that of other grains. Quinoa contains all the essential amino acids. In particular, quinoa is high in lysine, an amino acid important for tissue growth and repair. It’s also a good source of manganese, magnesium, phosphorus and copper, and it has a high iron content.
